MentorMate is a platform that connects foreign-language-speaking children in Hungarian schools with volunteer tutors—students from Hungarian high schools. Through regular one-on-one sessions, high school students help children from vulnerable backgrounds improve their studies, prepare for middle school entrance exams, and practice the Hungarian language.

WHO IS IT FOR?
Foreign students: Children attending primary school in Hungary who have insufficient Hungarian language skills to keep up with the curriculum.
Hungarian students: Senior students from top high schools in Budapest who want to earn volunteer hours. Their strong academic performance allows them to effectively support younger students in their studies.
